Published:10/16/2008 Opinion Loomis starts the attack
The Negative Attacks by Liz Loomis Have Started, even after the candidate for the 44th legislative District told the Marysville Globe there would be no attacks.
My opponent sits on the board of NARAL a group that was responsible for mailing out a despicable hit piece against me that did not say one truthful thing. This group People for a Stable Economy is funded by the SEIU, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, and the Truman Fund. They are doing the dirty work for Liz. I believe that my opponent knew about the attack because she sits on the board of NARAL ( http://www.prochoicewashington.org/about/#board ).

The Lies:
I am supposedly against diabetes screening.
I am supposedly against mammograms.
I am supposedly against overnight stays for newborns and their mothers.
The Truth:
I support diabetes screening. I own a gym that caters to young athletes and I know that nutrition and preventative healthcare reduces the chances of diabetes.
I support mammograms. My wife, in her freshman year of college, had a tumor removed from her chest that would not have been discovered without preventative screening. Every year my wife participates in the 60 mile Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk. Our family and friends have donated thousands of dollars over the years to provide money for breast cancer research, treatment and preventative measures for men and women.
I support overnight stays for newborns and their mothers. What person wouldnt?
